Welcome to Luca OS. By accessing our website, downloading our software, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
1. Licensing
Personal Use License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install, and use Luca OS for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.
Enterprise License: Commercial use of Luca OS requires a separate Enterprise License Agreement. Contact sales@lucaos.space for details.
2. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Luca OS to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
- Generate or disseminate content that is illegal, harmful, or promotes violence.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of proprietary components (e.g., the Cortex Engine core).
- Interfere with the integrity or performance of our update servers.
3. AI Ethics and Responsibility
Luca OS empowers you with powerful synthetic intelligence. With this power comes responsibility.
- Output Verification: AI models can hallucinate. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any code, text, or data generated by Luca before using it in critical systems.
- Liability: LucaOS Inc. is not liable for any damages arising from the use of AI-generated content.
4. Updates and Changes
We differ from traditional OS vendors. We respect your version sovereignty.
- Forced Updates: We will never force an update on your system.
- Security Patches: We strongly recommend installing security patches, but the choice remains yours.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
6. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL LUCAOS INC. BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
